Video Editor ... a quest!
On the Mac, you’re pretty spoilt when it comes to video editing. In addition to Final Cut Pro, there is iMovie for the home user (which is me). Finding a good replacement for Linux, especially in terms of ease of use, is frankly difficult.
The search for the editor
On the Mac, I was a big fan of the Coda editor. After it was discontinued and I didn’t warm to its successor Nova, I switched to BBEdit.
After switching to Linux, the question arose: which editor should I use? Of course, this question can take on almost religious overtones, but these are just my thoughts.
Tuxedo-Control-Center in Fedora
The manufacturer of my Tuxedo laptop provides its own software solution for controlling the performance and the fan. A few adjustments are required to ensure that it also runs in Fedora 40 under Secureboot.
